The well-known Seminole Tribe recently launched its sports betting app in Florida. All would be fine, but such a launch took place simultaneously with the litigation taking place over permits for gambling.
Seminole Tribe has long planned to launch its products in Florida, but unlike other states, it decided to do everything very modestly and without special events. Even a company spokesman declined to provide any comments. The journalists wanted to be interested in the reason for the launch of the sports betting app in this region, but the head office of the company refused to say anything about this.
Many on social media were outraged that the company launched its sports app. They have already started offering people to place bets on the most popular disciplines. But this angered many people.
It all started when Florida was opened to sports betting in May of this year. The state government signed an agreement with the Seminole Tribe and agreed to work together. But several representatives from the region immediately filed a lawsuit over some parts of the agreement.
Seminole Tribe shouldn’t have launched their sports betting app so quickly in this state, but because of the potential profit they can earn, the reasons for this decision are very clear.
